Kogi State University was established on 18th November, 1999 and currently, has a total student population of over 23,000 spread across its eight (8) faculties of Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Education, Law, Management Sciences, Medicine, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Though a state University, Kogi State University accommodates significant number of non-indigenes, from all parts of Nigeria. The University has graduated about 16,500 students. In order to boost research and manpower development, the University commenced postgraduate programmes in all the faculties in 2008/2009 except for Faculties of Education and Medicine.
Following the recent approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the establishment of Kogi State University Business School (KBS), the Management of Kogi State University (KSU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Executive Professional Postgraduate Diplomas and Professional Masters in the following Faculties and Departments on the campus at Anyigba.
